This was the most AMERICAN weekend I've ever had! What a trip.
A few weekends ago, I went to the Pensacola Beach Air Show practice. As you can see, I changed multiple times throughout the day. I don't mess around when it comes to spending the entire day at the beach! I came over prepared and I am so glad that I did. I started out with this summer-y cold shoulder top that I bought local (Ciao Bella) and Lilly shorts (TJ Max) along with the straw hat (also local, The Sequined Magnolia). We showed up at the beach around 7am to secure a spot for our "set up". I had brought my beach umbrella (new purchase from Target) along with my beach chair, repping my university. Shout out to Moriah for bring her canopy for the short time it rained and to Meagan for dragging the cooler full of beer through the sand! We brought everything between sandwiches and extra sunscreen to dry shampoo and moisturizer.
Once the sun was higher in the sky, I covered up with a Columbia shirt. I love these on the beach because they are so light and airy but still covers up my shoulders (the first part of my body that burns). We had a few drinks and visited all the vendors set up along the beach. We played corn hole at the Coco Cola booth and participated in the Army and Air Force simulators. The air show begins at 11am but the weather was pretty bad at the Pensacola Airport which delayed a few of planes. At 2pm, Fat Albert and the Blue Angels preformed. I had never been to an air show before so I was in utter disbelief when these talented pilots maneuvered their planes! It was exhilarating! 10 out of 10 recommend the 2018 show!
