Downtown in a Beach Town

I brought you outdoors! It is too beautiful of a town not to take advantage of the scenery. Enjoy!

Let me begin by explaining how hilarious this shoot was. I finally decided to take y'all outside of my apartment complex and set up next to the courthouse downtown. People are not used to a girl taking pictures of herself via tripod on the corner of the busiest intersection in town. So if it looks like I am cracking up laughing in most of these pictures, it is because I am. I got this dress from a boutique in College Station and constantly get complements. Personally, I hate the neckline but you can't go wrong with a t-shirt dress. Like I've previously stated, my waist is my best asset so I like to accentuate it by adding a belt. Most of the time I wear brown and gold accessories but I decided to change it up and go with black accents. The reason I love t-shirt dresses so much is because you can make it as casual or as dressy as you need to. These tiny wedge pointed toe shoes bring the outfit up to a level I can comfortably wear to work.  Let me know in the comments what your best asset is and how you personally like to accentuate that feature!

it's a high pony kind of day

First fashion post coming to you live from my apartment! More interesting backdrops coming soon! And no you do not need to get your eyes checked, my legs are really sunburned from the holiday weekend.

Late for work and no time to shower? No worries, high pony here to save the day! I am one of those weird souls that can only wear my hair up when I have a high neckline shirt. This tee is a little too casual for my taste to wear to work so I pair it with a colored blazer and comfy pencil skirt. My Gianni Bini heels help to class up the outfit.
